Ashgate Scroll

Read it out in the field to open an Ashgate: a ring of ash-stone shards with a twin by your region’s town waystone. Step in to go to town, and step into the twin to come back.

Emberfall’s scribes grind waystone chips into their ink. Burn a line of it and the stone remembers where it came from, and pulls a doorway open to get back there.

Tips

  • Reading takes a moment: stand still and don’t get hit.
  • Your gate stays open for ten minutes, so shop, bank and heal, then step back through to the exact spot you left.
  • Friends who were with you can use your gate too.
  • Keep one or two in your bag for when a delve goes badly.
