Rimefall Highlands

Past the Cinder Wastes the ash falls as snow and the old fires froze. Levels 45–60.

Climb past the Wastes and the ash turns to snow: grey flakes that never melt, drifting over frozen ember vents. The Rimefall Highlands belong to the rime-touched dead, to yetis and frost-furred wolves, and to Hrimvald the Rime Jarl, who sits in a great hall where the last fire froze solid. Kindlehold’s clans keep their hearths lit against him, one ember passed from hand to hand.
